The All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated Edo State Governor, Sen. Monday Okpebholo, and his Deputy, Rt. Hon. Denis Idahosa, following their victory at the Court of Appeal.
On Thursday, May 29, 2025, a three-member Appeal Court panel upheld the Edo State Governorship Tribunal’s ruling, reaffirming Okpebholo’s win in the September 21, 2024, election.
In a statement, APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, Esq., praised the judiciary for its impartiality and professionalism, noting that the verdict reflects the will of Edo voters.
The party expressed confidence that the ruling would motivate the Governor to intensify his transformative agenda, delivering democratic dividends to the people.
The APC also urged PDP candidate Asue Ighodalo to accept the verdict and collaborate with the Governor in advancing Edo’s development for the benefit of all.
