Abuja, October 8, 2025 –
In a powerful display of political solidarity, a coalition of youth groups from the North Central geopolitical zone has declared its unwavering commitment to the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR in 2027.

Under the banner of the North Central Youth Coalition for Asiwaju (NCYCA), the group convened its inaugural press conference in Abuja, positioning the region as an indispensable political bloc. The Coalition’s Coordinator, Mr. James Iorkusah, underscored the region’s historical significance and its nearly 16 million-strong voter base, which constitutes 16.25% of the national total.
“No presidential election can be won in Nigeria without the North Central,” Iorkusah stated. “We are a conscious, united, and active political force, and today, we pledge our unalloyed support to President Tinubu.”

The coalition praised the President’s bold reforms, including ending the fuel subsidy and unifying the exchange rate, which they credited for channeling trillions in allocations to all government tiers and stabilizing the economy. They highlighted visible infrastructure development and gains in security, agriculture, and healthcare as evidence of the Renewed Hope Agenda’s success.
To secure a second term for the President, NCYCA announced plans to mobilize youth across the North Central and forge alliances with the South-South region. The group vowed to relentlessly campaign until President Tinubu is re-elected, affirming their loyalty and determination to see the mission through.
