The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Baribari, mother of Katsina State Governor, His Excellency (Dr.) Dikko Umaru Radda. In a statement by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka Esq., the party described Hajiya Safara’u as a devoted community pillar who raised not only her biological children but also nurtured many young individuals, earning her the title of a mother to all.
Hajiya Safara’u, who died at 93, was celebrated for her selfless service and profound influence on her family, including the Village Head of Radda, Alhaji Kabir Umar-Radda; Hajiya Hauwa Umaru-Radda, wife of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua; and Governor Radda. Her life was marked by compassion, resilience, integrity, and a deep love for humanity, leaving behind a lasting legacy.
The APC prayed that Almighty Allah grants her eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and comforts her family, the Katsina State government, and its people during this difficult time
