Chief Edward David Onoja, the immediate past Deputy Governor of Kogi State and a Board Member of the South East Development Commission, has extended his warm congratulations to Dr. Cyril Tsenyil on his official inauguration as the Managing Director/CEO of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) on Thursday 28th August 2025.

In a colourful reception at the residence of the former Plateau State Governor H.E Sen Simon Bako Lalong, that saw many dignitariesand friends from Plateau State and other parts among them is the newly elected chairman of the APC Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda. Onoja praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s appointment of Dr Cyril Yiltsen as exemplary, describing it as “a round peg in a round hole.” He expressed strong confidence that Dr. Tsenyil’s extensive experience in both the public and private sectors will bring immense value to the region’s development.

Highlighting the North Central’s critical role, Onoja referred to it as the nation’s “economic heartbeat,” citing its vast fertile lands for agriculture and abundant deposits of solid minerals. He concluded by calling on all relevant stakeholders to collaborate with the new commission’s management to fully realize President Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda for the region.
