In response, BBC Chair Samir Shah apologized for an “error in judgment,” acknowledging the editing gave a misleading impression. The documentary has been removed from their online service. This threat continues Trump’s pattern of legal action against media outlets, following recent high-profile settlements and lawsuits against organizations like CBS and The New York Times. The BBC stated it has received the letter and will respond in due course.
