Final arrangements are now complete for the burial of Late Dame Peace Onyekwulechi Igbokwe, mother of philanthropist Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu).
A Service of Songs and Tribute Night will be held on Friday, 9th January 2026, honouring her life of impact, love, and service.
The funeral service follows on Saturday, 10th January, at Methodist Church, Wesley Cathedral, No. 1 Crowthier Street, Umuahia, Abia State. It is expected to draw dignitaries from across Nigeria.
A reception at Umuawa Alaocha Primary School Field will allow guests to commiserate with the family and celebrate her legacy.
The Igbokwe family invites all to join them in paying final respects.
She will be remembered for her strength, faith, and the enduring values she instilled in her family and community.
