Two brothers, Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande, have been handed over to South African authorities in connection with the murder of rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes. A high-risk police team received the suspects in eSwatini.

AKA and his friend, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, were fatally shot outside a Durban restaurant in 2023. The Ndimande brothers, the first of seven suspects arrested in this case, are also linked to three separate attacks, including the murders of a taxi boss and his driver.
They are scheduled to appear in a Durban court. One brother is alleged to be the triggerman. While their extradition is a key step, legal analysts note the complex trial process, including potential bail applications, is just beginning, with the full trial expected next year.
