Channel Tunnel Power Problems Halt Eurostar Services, Advising No Travel

Eurostar advises passengers not to travel today due to ‘major disruption’ in the Channel Tunnel.

Problems with the overhead power supply and a subsequent failed Le Shuttle train are causing severe delays and cancellations.

The rail operator is urging all customers to postpone their journeys to another date.

Passengers are asked not to come to the station unless they already possess a ticket. Even operational trains face significant disruption.

For live updates on the status of services, passengers should check the official ‘Train status and timetables’ page on the Eurostar website.
